Due to a steam update a few days ago, Cheating Death is fucked.
Cheating death will be disabled until further notice...

now that everything is back to normal on the server. regarding the bots and cheating death. i've been updating
the website. and guess what i stumbled across?
A new metamod version (metamod 1.18)
And a new version of AMX mod X. (1.55)
I'll update the plugins page accordingly, and fix any broken links
and on a happier note....
There is now an official Cannon Fodder clan.

Back to normality 20th

As you may have noticed there was a steam update a few days ago, (about 4 of them actually, presumably the
later ones were to fix the first). this upset the server big time, the bots wouldn't jon teams, and cheating death was reporting
a code63 error. this has all been fixed now, with a new podbot_mm.dll and a C-D update (ver. 4.32.0), but not after rebuilding
the server from scratch. so, admins, i know you have limited admin power, im working on it. and if you tell me this, i know
you dont check the website regularly enough.
Please still send me suggestions for new maps, i have a new site to get the maps/waypoints
from, so please let me know of any map related problems.
Where are the bots?

As you may have noticed, there are no bots on the server.
there was a steam platform update, a counterstrike update and a dedicated server update on monday night,
and since these updates, cheating-death is bringing up a code63 error, and the bots seem quite happy spectating, and won't
join a team no matter how much you encourage them.
I've now rebuilt the server from scratch, but without C-D or podbot, and it has the following
mods:
Hlgaurd.
Ultimate warcract 3.
Repay. (health for headshots)
Ultimate gore. (more blood)
Csnadedrops.
Lastman betting.
Now, big change here. not using podbot means i dont have to worry about needing waypoints before testing
maps. so now we can have any maps you want. please don't send me maps, but send me the names of the ones you want, and
i'll download them, and their sounds, wad's ect...
also, if you find sounds missing. please let me know.

the servers been on and offline for the last month because iv'e been on holiday, and wells has been running
the server now and again. but im back now so everything should be back to normal. i'll try to put a bit more effort into
new maps and hopefully if the lock_in nights are a success, you lot can be the ones to test 'em.
also, i'm thinking of starting a members area or something to that effect, i don't know what yet, but i
can feel something brewing.

This is my new invention... lock_in's,
the idea is, i password the server, and only regulars who have the lock_in password can play for that night,
this means playing with people you know who have already downloaded the maps (and have good ping ;-).
or to put it plainly: no lag all night!!!
to get the lock_in password, and for details of the next lock_in, e_mail me at the usual address.

As you some of you know, i've been in Thailand for the last month, and wells has been sporadically
running the server while i've been gone. Sorry for the inconvenience, but now i'm back and things are gonna change.
The server will be on regularly, the website will be updated, and for regulars i'm planning lock_in nights.
as always: e_mail me for anything, whether its complaints or suggestions. And lets me know who's not
playing fair.
I switched teamkill off buy the way, this is to stop people stealing from thier own team. (it wouldn't
have been so bad if you were healing your team.)

The Big Warcraft Vote 21

As you all know, i switched the server from UWC3 to Warcraft 3 Frozen Thrones. The idea was, to test out the new one
and have a vote, to see whether to keep it. Or, revert back to UWC3.

34 levels, no race selection,
bots have no warcraft abilities, they can't buy shopmenu items,
use ultimates or race powers.

10 levels, 9 Races,
bots buy powers, choose race and use ultimates.

How to Vote
Now, to register your vote, you need to send an e-mail to dai_namik@hotmail.com containing your cs screenname, and the version of warcraft that you want to vote for.
All votes must be recieved by 30th August 2005
Do you Qualify to vote?
to be included in the vote, you have to be a regular player.
There is no list of regulars you can check, to find out.
Only i know who the rugulars are
I will print a list of all voters, and any complaints about non-regulars voting I will check the logs
to find out
